1st International show organized by Jogani entertainment group as on 17th February 2007 at Bangkok.
Mr. Atul Kumar Jogani, President of the Indian-Thai Diamond & Color stone Association (ITDCA) and Vice President of the Thai Gem & Jewellery Traders Association (TGJTA) recently made history by organizing the first ever commercial performance by mentally and physically challenged Indian children held outside India. The Programmer, a charity “Bollywood Concert” was organized under the banner of Jogani Entertainment Ltd. and was held at the Royal Chalermkrung Theatre on Charoen Krung Road and feature performance by 20 disabled children from the V.D.Indian Society for M.R., Malad, and Mumbai.
Mr. Farokh Engineer, the legendary former captain, wicket keeper and opening batsman of the Indian Cricket Team specially donated an autographed cricket bat to be auctioned during the event. The bat has been personally signed by cricket greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Shane Warne, Andrew Flintoff, Clive Lloyd, Virendra Sehwag, and Anil Kumble. The winning bid for This special bat was by Mr.Surendra Patel of New Suren R.O.P. and all the proceeds from the auction were donated to the V.D.INDIAN SOCIETY FOR M.R., which cares for the mentally retarded.
It is called “BIG WONDERS” and rightly so – a Hi-technical variety entertainment programmer presented by special children is quite spectacular, amazing and thrilling. As they say “The programme once seen is remembered forever.” They are of the ilk that have never complained but have strived to make their lives beautiful. A bright spark in their little eyes so much full of hope, courage and calmness will make you forget their disabilities. |
